I grew up just north of Buffalo, NY, in a place called Town of Tonawanda. After completing high school, I attended State University College at Buffalo, to earn a B.S. in Industrial Arts Education, Dec. 1973. I taught for a year and then moved onto Trenton State College, to earn my M.Ed. Industrial Education, Aug. 1975.

That September I started teaching south of Binghamton, NY, in the Susquehanna Valley CSD. In 1980 I moved to Long Island and started teaching in the Amityville UFSD. I continue to teach in the Amityville Middle School

In the early 1990’s I became deeply involved in the in the training of teachers in the use of technology in the classroom. I am a classroom teacher, an in-service instructor for SCOPE, MESTRACT and an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Education at Dowling. In June 2004, I was recognize by ISTE with a SigTel award for excellence in online learning, and in November was recognized by NYSCATE as The Lee Bryant Outstanding New York State Technologist 2004 – 2005.
