Floppy Disk

Hard Drive This device is built into your computer. It can store data and data canHard Drive be retrieved from it at very high speeds. Most importantly, it holds the software, the operating system, that enables your computer to understand what you want it to do. When you buy a new piece of software, and "install" the software, the hard drive is the place the software is stored until you want to use it. Modem This device is either built-in or connected to your computer with a cord. ModemIt enables your computer to send and receive data over telephone lines. cable lines or a wireless connection.
