Does Google Know You?

Google is one of the most powerful of all "search engines" on the internet. They have retrieved and indexed information about Billions of webpages all over the World Wide Web. Unfortunately some times we do not realize that information about each of us is on the World Wide Web, just ready to be viewed.....

Try the following activity.

• Go to the website www.Google.com
• Type in the search box your first and last name and the town that you live. Put in quotation marks around your first and last name so that the search is more exact.
  • For Example: "John James" Amityville
• Click on the search button
• Check to see if there is a HyperLink leading to information about you :-)
• Try doing the same search using your phone number instead of your name and town
  • For Example: 631-789-6767
