Every reporter needs to start off their story with a Lead Sentence.

The most used openings for a Lead Sentence are the who and the what. The least used, in other words the weakest, are where and when. Rarely are place and time the most important aspects of the story, although they are usually included in the first paragraph.

Detail - An important fact or facts that give the reader a deeper understanding of your topic.

Closing Sentence - a sentence that summerizes the importance of what you have written.
