Steps
in your Writing Project
- Given a list of
60 inventions, select two inventions to research.

- Using an Internet
search engine, find information pertaining to each invention
- Having found information
about an invention, evaluate the information to determine if it will
be appropriate for the report
- Print pertinent
information from the Internet pertaining to the invention researched.
- Using the information
printed out and the who, what, where, why sheet, fill out pertainent
information on the sheet
- Using the information
printed out, your completed Who,What,Where, Why sheet and a pencil/pen
and paper, write a rough draft of the report on each invention. Rember
you need at least three paragraphs, opening, body, ending.
- After the rough
draft has been approved, type the rough draft using a word-processing
program.
- As you are typing
your rough draft, create a document with the standard school heading
for writing
- Use the word-processing
program to justify text, indent, add text attributes, fonts and different
text sizes in the creation of their report.
- Submit your typed
rough draft for approval.
- Edit you final
report.
- Print your final
report
