Click the mouse in cell A1 and type Your First and Last Name.
Click the mouse in cell C1 and type Your Class Period.
Next click the mouse in cell B2 and type "My M&M Colors".
Highlight "My M&M Colors" and change the font size to 14 and BOLD.
Click the mouse in cell B3 and type in the word "Red".
Continue with entering the names of the different colors of M&Ms into cells, B4, B5, B6, B7, and B8.
Place your mouse in cell B3 and highlight down to B8. Change the font to size 12 and BOLD.
After you have labeled all of your candy colors, you will need to enter the data recorded for each color. Click the mouse in cell C3 and enter the number of red M&Ms found in your package. Repeat for all the colors, entering the data down column C.
Once the data is entered, click on cell B3 and drag the mouse to the end of where you entered the information in Column C. From the Insert Menu on the Task Bar select Chart. Choose chart type "Column" Click next and next again. In the Title Selection space type ______s M&Ms. (Put your name on the blank line.) Click Finish.
Move the Column chart off the spreadsheet table by clicking on the Column chart and dragging it to the side. Deselect the column chart.
When you have completed your column chart, go to the file menu select Print Preview to make sure that the chart and the spreadsheet data will be printed. If your data and chart is displayed Click Print. Print 1 copy.
Save your work call it your name and M&M Colors.
