Spreadsheets
To learn how to use Microsoft Excel to create graphs and analyze information.
Each student
will be able to:
1. List five terms
associated with spreadsheets
2. Explain that the three most common uses of spreadsheets are analysis,
calculation and graphing
3. Given a column and row designation, locate a specific cell in a spreadsheet.
4. Identify the types of data that can be entered into a spreadsheet
cell.
5. Enter data into cells of a spreadsheet
6. Explain that a graph is a graphic representation of data
7. Using data entered by the student, use that data to generate a bar
graph.
8. List four types of graphs that a spreadsheet can produce.
9. Demonstrate the ability to copy a graph into a word processed document.
10. Explain that Formulas are used in a spreadsheet to perform calculations.
